Hi all I’ve just tried the IAC valve mod were you fit a gasket with a smaller hole to restrict the air flow to allow the rpm to drop faster. Now it has worked the rpm most definitely drops faster but my idle has increased from 850 to 1200 rpm what’s going on?
Anyone else done this mod and had the same problem?

Kind of sounds like you might have a vacuum leak. Double check all your hoses that you’ve been messing with.
