So the car has the 4.6l 2v npi and i’m looking to make 400whp or more
here are the mods i already have
-K&N CAI
-78MM ThrottleBody
-4.10 gears
-full exhaust longtubes headers to a catless x pipe with 2 high flow mufflers and a magnaflow cat back tail pipes
-decent amount of suspension work

the car as it sits is fun but is only making around 240-250whp and i think i would be able to achieve 400s for decently cheap which i want the most bang for my buck to save money

My thought process on how to make cheap power:
-PI Swap
-HandHeld Tuner from AmericanMuscle
-UnderDrive Pulleys
-ZEX N2O Kit adjustable for 75-125 shot
then i think with this setup i would be able to make 350-400 but after doing the math i would only have to spend around 1700$ what’s your guys thoughts? am i missing any supporting mods? will my setup be safe with a stock block and a 125 shot? and the big question is will the car be making upper 300s thanks!

Get a 1.840" intake valve in the pi heads. Get a nasty cam with a 106lsa, something like comps 274 / 278 cam reground to 106lsa. An edelbrock intake manifold. The intake will favor the nitrous far better than a stock intake. Some headers(and hate yourself for installing them). This will get you well over 300rwhp

I honestly don't see your mods giving you 240-250 rwhp with a NPI 4.6

I'd do the PI stuff you already have on your way, then throw a Vortech on it and call it a day.

Yup you got it
i figured stock it made around 210-215 then with the smaller stuff like gears, cai,tb,suspension, etc it would be around the 240-250 mark as it sits as of now then i’m hoping with the PI Swap and a wet shot i’m thinking i might want to go with a 125 shot
/do you guys think with what i have right now i could run a 125 or 150 wet shot on 93 pump gas and dyno tune?

I’d just do a Vortech at 10lbs with supporting fuel mods you’ll make your goal and the car will be a blast

What he meant was the car makes 215 stock at the crank. They often dyno in the 180s at the wheel. Toss on you mods and it's probably closer to 215 wheel at that point. A pi swap good cams and the rest of the bolt on mods will get you close to 300 at the tire with a little help coming from the NPI bottom end. I'd start there. 300 wheel from 215 is a hell of a difference. If you plan on buying cams plenty used sets to be found. And from experience I recommend changing the valve springs before you put the heads on. Your life will be easier trust me

Again, 210-215 HP is not the stock RWHP, that is the stock HP rating at the crank
Also Gears, suspension, shifter etc dont add any HP.
A stock NPI 4.6 will make about 175-185 RWHP.
Full bolt ons, you'd be lucky to see 200-210 RWHP (UDP, CAI, exhaust, etc etc)
If I had to guess, I'd say you're currently around 190-195 RWHP.
A Vortech at 8-10 lbs would net you 300 RWHP, give or take a few.
But don't worry about chasing #s, just enjoy the car.
