I'd say go for it if that is what you like. We are car guys first IMO.

I am a closet fan of FD RX7s. Will own a yellow one or a silver with red interior before I die.

Had an 87 turbo, 91 turbo, and a 93 turbo. Loved my rx7’s. No real redline made it fun. Hold the pedal down and let the rpm’s scream!!!

Look up videos of guys trying to blow the motors up before they did swaps. 2x4 holding the pedal down and some lasted for over an hour. Motors would usually overheat and catch fire but wouldn’t ever blow up!!!! Lol

Those are pretty sweet but cost a small fortune to obtain.

I am also a fan of FD RX7s and they’re a very, VERY close second the the Skyline on my list. In fact, I still may go that route.

Never, never, never in a million years would I have ever picked you as a rotary guy! Did you ever have any apex seal failures like they’re supposed to be famous for losing?

87 liked to flood itself all the time. But no blown seals.

91 blew the seals and I ordered a motor from rob gulden.

93 I had issues with the sequential turbos and swapped to a single. Then blew the seals and had rob build a motor for that one.

And just so ya know I also had a talon for a short period. I have a wide taste in cars. Pushrod stangs just happen to be one of my all time favs.

Don’t forget the thong! Have to totally coordinate or you’re just lame.

Nah I leave the thongs to my wife. She complains enough for both of us about how uncomfortable they are!!!

I have had 3 R33 Skylines, RB25 S13, 2 S14's, S15, and an Evo III. Had many friends with R32's. They are basically the Mustang of Japan.

I would LOVE to build a 1989 GTR to compete in Optima Street Car Challenge in vintage class (older than 1990). That thing would rape.

I can answer some questions if you have any. Skylines are cool but I prefer the S-chassis cars for their simplicity and lighter weight. Tons of parts are interchangeable between the two. S13 and R32 share suspension components and S14/15 and R33 share.

Excellent. The idea has been shelved, again, for now.
