Hey guys, my buddy just offered to buy the bullits off my car for a Ranger he picked up today. I still have the FR500's I got last year that some of you may remember I tried to strip the old paint off of...well half the paint is still on em and I can't get em in a sandblaster around here so I've decided to sell them as well to another guy that wants them. So if all goes well and I sell both sets of wheels, I'll have around $700 plus some in the bank in case I decide on a more expensive set of wheels. Ive always liked the FR500's, polished Terminators, and a few multi spoke wheels. But I really don't know much about any more outside the box types of wheels. I don't really wanna spend much over a grand if I can keep from it. I already have tires, 255/40/18 (I think) and 295/35/18. I definitely want as big of a lip in the back as possible as well. So I'm not sure what offset would be the best. A part of my really still wants to just get FR500's in either black or anthracite...there may be a thousand SN's with those wheels but they are still my favorite wheels. Sorry if this is a little vague too, I guess just need to see some pics of some cars with different wheels than the norm.
See I love those wheels but don't really care for the stepped lip that much, it would have to grow on me. I kind of like the new SVE series 3 wheels too and they have a solid lip.
Check these out. I almost bought them before pulling the trigger on mine. http://www.vordoven.com/products/18-mvmt-01-hyper-black
This is gonna be a tough decision no matter what. I don't wanna get some multi spoke wheels and decide I really don't like em as much after I get em....but I also don't wanna get FR500's then wish I'd stepped my game up a little more.
judging by the offset on that front wheel i'd say that has to be a photoshop lol. those black spoked sve wheels look really good though man. i think you'd dig those
Hahaha yea I noticed that after I put my contacts in this morning. If I was gonna stay wingless forever I'd go for some 18" bullits and trim my Sportlines a little bit, but I do plan on getting an S281 eventually. It's just one of those situations where there are only like 4 other SN's in town that are modded at all, so mine already stands out.....but do I want to go the extra mile and make it really stand out or just stick with my first instinct from when I bought the car, which was slammed down on staggered FR's with a Saleen wing. Decisions man decisions...
