My mods are listed below for my 95 Cobra. I currently have the stock 19 lb injectors. Should I have 24 lb injectors? Also, what other mods can I do to bump up the horsepower other than nitrous or a supercharger? Thanks. A turbocharger. But honestly, maybe something for stronger spark. You're kind of at the point of forced induction for any power gains that will be significant. You could get a tune...
Oh sorry, I got my numbers mixed up. Should I have 30lb injectors as opposed to the stock 24lb injectors? I just want to make sure that the 24lb injectors are appropriate for the mods I have.
To answer your question; yes, your 24# injectors will be plenty. Unless you're tickling 7500rpm's, then you might need more. But you should be fine with what you got. What compression ratio does that "high dollar" set of pistons give you? Are you still using the factory cobra intake? Screw it, just add boost. Lol.
I thought he was fine with the 19's till I saw the cobra r hood. Now I am not so sure... Realistically your probably fine with what you have but if you want to know for sure a trip to a dyno would tell you if your maxing out the injectors. You would need to retune it for the bigger ones anyway to do it right.
I was happy to sell my under drive pullies for the same $$$ I had into them because I got them used. Others love them but I think there are better places to spend the money
Cam? If you've got better heads and possibly higher compression, there is probably some power to be made there. I noticed a difference when I installed underdrives on my car, but I also noticed a drop in alternator output at idle. Not sure if I'd do them again.
