Are the EV6 style injectors the same length as the EV1 style injectors?
Yes, EV6 and EV1 injectors are basically the same length.
More information on injectors: Mustang can use two different style connectors (Jetronic/Minitimer or USCAR). There is a 3rd EV14 but not to many people use them.
* Mustangs from 1986-2004 use the Jetronic/Minitimer style injectors.
* Mustangs from 1999-2004 (4.6L 4V Mustangs (SVT Cobra & Mach 1)) and 2005-2015 Mustangs use USCAR style connector.
* Ford Racing also sells the adapter harness so you can adapt USCAR stlye harness to a Minitimer/Jetronic injector or a Minitimer harness to a USCAR injector.

The only difference Is the connector.. You can have the small body with either connector..
The later style is supposed to be a better version due to spray pattern.
You can get the adapters at LRS, AM etc.
I hear "better spray pattern" way too much. The internals and the coil are what make the injector better. The EV14s also don't weigh a thousand pounds.
I guess basically the same means they are slightly different. I wonder how much is the difference?
They are not the same
