I saw on a Panther Platform video about the slack in the throttle cable. I found on mine there was quite a bit and I was not quite getting full throttle. I found a piece of tubing that worked but it fell off. Having the tools, I drew one up in 3D cad and had a friend print it. It still leaves a bit of slack as the first tubing I cut raised the pedal too far. I have attached the step files for printing and the native SolidWorks files if you want to modify.
The spacer slips over the cable, you put the "key" piece in the slot and then put a couple small zip ties on. The countersunk end goes toward the throttle bracket.
Just figured out that I cannot post those file types. Let me know if there is some way to get the files out. I did put the PDFs up.

I’ve done this before with nylon spacers from Home Depot. Cut them in half, slip the pieces over the throttle cable in front of the pedal, then secure with either zip ties or hose clamps. Not as sophisticated as yours though lol. It’s one of those mods that’s easy and makes a meaningful difference.

Very smart. Too many people are lazy and just use zip ties. Then they have to deal with the cable snapping and having to find another one.

It's nice to see the "old mods" we did years ago refreshed with newer tech and ingenuity. Good on you for doing it.

So I am now on rev 2 of this spacer. I turned off the traction control and mashed the go pedal last weekend and the spacer was not up to the task. I switched the zip tie grooves for added "nubs" on the outer diameter. We'll see how that lasts.

I got gen 2 installed. So far so good. I haven't had a chance to really stop the go pedal yet. I will keep you posted.
The guy that printed it for me used some carbon fiber filled material, not sure exactly which one.
After driving with it I missed it after it broke, the drop between the brake and gas seemed like a long ways. I have traditionally had stick shift and miss heel-toe. The pedal drop pictures are not great, trying to hold the tape and take a picture on my phone did not work out very well.
No, I am not a savage, I trimmed the zip ties after I took the picture.

Youll know what kind of savage you are by how you trimmed that zip tie. Trimmed at a 45degree angle or completely flush? Cause that 45degree angle will rip your skin when you go digging around uo under the dash.

Cool project and great idea

So far so good. I haven't driven too much since I installed it. 6" of snow, cold since then means it hasn't melted.

Here is an image of the 3D model. The flat on the bottom was for printing purposes so it didn't need supports.
So far so good. Have done full throttle hits quite a few times and it is holding up.
