I heard a while ago that the 96 cobras have the steel IRCs (not sure if it's IVC, IRC, IRV, etc) which collect more grime than the 97-98 do. Does anyone have a write-up on how to clean these things? I hear it can make a big difference. If not, please explain why. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance!

96 and 97 cobras have metal plates and the 98's have plastic. also, some late model 97's got the plastic ones also. plastic ones are better then the metal.
