When ford first came out with the IRS on the 99 cobra they were
eventualy planning on realeasing an IRS kit to be installed on any
94-98 mustang. It's 2007 now and still nothing. Does anyone have
any information on this?

all you have to do is find an IRS out of a cobra, it is a fairly straightforward swap. but unless you plan on spending some serious money on building it up, or if you autoX, i wouldnt put one in. they weigh like a 100 pounds more that an 8.8.

I'm thinking about swapping my stock rear for a Termi IRS. A guy at work wants to swap real bad. I'm more of a twisties kind of guy so I might go for it.

You do realize that if you ever need a replacement axle, those CV's cost like $400 a piece right? And you'll have some problems with 315's on the back, and the cars wheel hop like crazy... I guess it's all been said before. Have fun.
