Take my centercaps off without removing my wheels? I did it on my old wheels/centercaps is all I know. I could dent/ding them up. Where I live no one has a torque wrench to put the wheels back on with. They say to come back in a couple of days to have them re-torque! Yeah, I don't want to do that. I was wondering if y'all knew of a way. Thanks!! I am anal, so I want them damn near perfect. At least I can try!!
You should just break down and buy a torque wrench.Sears has them on sale for the fathers day sale.If you do any work on your car your self it won't be a waste of money.Besides $50-80 spent on a torque wrench will be a hell of alot cheaper then fixing your car if a wheel came off.I would think if you were that anal you would own one. Most shops have the color coded torque extensions for the impact guns anyway.I personally would not let a person near my wheels with one of those.
Sorry, my messed up brain does not work like that. I am terrible at doing anything now! I put in the gas, and that's about it. I want to buy a wrench, but have no clue on what to buy. I just found out where I could buy them at, from you. Yeah, I'm not so smart these days!!
Try one of these.I gave you one on each end of the price range. The $60 would be more then enough just to do your wheels http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/prod...OOL&subcat=Torque+Wrenches&BV_UseBVCookie=Yes http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/prod...OOL&subcat=Torque+Wrenches&BV_UseBVCookie=Yes
i have never used a torque wrench to put on my wheels, actually i didn't use a torue wrench when i put on my intake manifold either... :hammer:
there is no way that I know of other than removing the wheels. [/quote] That is looking for! Thanks!! Man $1400 just for a wrench? I am dumb, but not crazy! I added the $60 to my list though! Thanks!!
