Ok so my upper coolant hose finally gave way after getting really large and letting the belt cut it open. I replaced it today and now when its really cold out it takes half the time it normally would to get to normal opterating temp for me which is right at the "O" I was just curious one why it would do that? Maybe because I got some air out of the system maybe?

Bleed the system. Way I did mine was I cracked open the cap while it was running just a hair to let the pressure out for about15 minutes. I also held the car up to about 3500 rpms to get the thermostat to open up. Make sure you turn the heater on full blast to make the thermostat open up quicker.

I know that haha. I already did that. Thats why I was asking if maybe I got air out of the system that was there before the new hose. I must have been tired when i posted this cause its a pretty dumb thread lol. I guess I just didnt expect an upper radiator hose to make my car warm up faster then the old bulgy one.
