Just wanting to verify that I have my separator running in the correct direction. JLT's instructions say to have the filter on the in-coming side, which I do. However I haven't noticed any oil being collected in the can, and when I pulled the line from the plenum there was oil inside the end.

To me it just seems that the filter should be on the out going side of the catch can so that it stops the oil causing it to drain back into the can.

Any input would be appreciated. This is on an '02 GT

Looking at the separator, the line in should be fitted onto the pcv. The line out goes to the intake.

My question is which side is the line in on the separator. Is it the side that has the metal screen or the side that's wide open.

Probably metal screen. To trap contaminants before entering into the separator.
