I really doubt with an x cam and 12:1 compression this car would run worth of crap.. the car can get put on a dyno to just to check the AF. Usually 50-100.

Ok now that I have drove it more. Just cruising it feels like it has a miss to it. third gear at around 3500 rpm and up if you try to hold it steady it feels to miss. If you floor it, it stops but doesnt seem to have any get up and go... Also the temp is running around 200-205? Is this normal?

Get it dyno tuned, it will be worth it. Forged rotating assembly, high compression ratio, and quality heads... that engine shouldn't be lackluster or disappointing in the least. A proper tune should get you everything you are hoping for.

Ok I'll do that tmrw. Also what should the timing be set at and what should the fuel pressure run at? I'm trying to post a video to show how slow acceleration is!

What does it run right now? Or are you just estimating how it feels?

It has to have something, the 24# injectors need to be matched either with a aftermarket MAF, tune, or using a Cobra ECU.

I agree with going in and doing a few baseline pulls, make sure it's healthy, AFRs are right, and just to know where you sit. North of 300 rwhp is where you should be IMO.

I think tuning is going to do it! I changed the spark plugs/oil and fuel filter today. I also unplugged the MAF sensor and it seems to accelerate a lot better

Looks like it has the C&L intake tube and MAF. Probably has the 24# injector tube in the MAF. Definitely get it tuned and cant wait to see the results.

Mine was missing a bit around 3000rpm at WOT & just got worse...I had it tuned but still had the problem. It turned out to be the pickup in the distributor was bad...what a difference after I replaced it.

I just changed these plugs at the beginning of the week.... I believe it's running very lean? Lol
