I have read the sticky on how to do it.
But I just have one question, I want to do the LED conversion, but I want to keep the current color setup.
I actually like the color.

My question is, would this work?
https://www.superbrightleds.com/checkout/?step=cart

It is the [h=1]194 LED Bulb - 5 LED Wide Angle Wedge Base[/h]COLOR- Warm White

As always I appreciate everyone's input!!

pretty sure the warm white ends up with a blue look through the lense instead of green. that link was too your shopping basket.

You could always sand down the blue backing and get green leds. I would just keep them if u want that same color. No point unless u want them brighter.

Oh...sorry about the link.

Yeah but I like the Blue I've seen on here.
But I also like the color it already has, just wanted a little more pop now that I put the trim rings in.

Don't order from that site. They're a ripoff.

If you want your gauge cluster to shine green, you will need amber/yellow bulbs as the film is blue. If you want them to light up blue, then get white bulbs.

warm white should keep the stock color but they'll probably be brighter. the pure white LEDs is what gives the crisp blue look.

Brighter would be the ticket.

If superbright LED is a bad site, any recommendation on a good one?
I have looked at Ebay, but I have heard it is hit or miss.

I agree don't order there. I got a 20 pack of white ones (turns the dash bright blue) from amazon for around $12

the hard part is finding warm white LEDs, most are the pure white which is why people usually prefer them over the regular yellowish bulbs.

Amazon or ebay.

Check feedback and rep, read reviews, proceed to order about 50 LEDs for $10.

I have a link in my build thread on page 13 (link in Sig) to the seller I bought my LEDs from. I think they had warm white lights, they're cheap and so far the quality seems good.
ttocs I definetly would! I would buy a ton of LEDs myself and sell them, but shipping back and forth over the border would drive the cost too high.

how many leds do we need to do our gauges/dash? I think I will see about buying some in bulk to sell on here. Seems like they get brought up a lot and someone is always looking. Hell if ti works I will offer a group but for the forum.

I think it was 4 or 5.
I didn't pay attention when I pulled my cluster out.

assuming you're talking about just the gauges in the cluster and the a/c and fan controls you're talkin 5 LEDs for the gauges and 2 for the HVAC.

underhood light is lame, just always on at car shows and stuff. I ended up just pulling my hood bulb, now there isn't a spot for it.

i just wish the 5 way SMD 194 bulbs fit in my license plate lens, they were too long so i had to keep the old style in there.
