Replacing the clutch and pressure plate on a 94 gt with 75,000 original miles. No problems with the clutch engagements just wanting thoughts on replacing the clutch slave while everything is open. Opinions of brands. I like to keep Ford Performance parts but good name brands would work.

That mustang has a cable operated clutch. No slave cylinder, unless someone put an aftermarket kit in it.....

Thanks for the info about the cable clutch and not hydraulic. I never liked the idea of the slave being in the bellhousing. I installed a hydraulic clutch in a 65 Falcon but used a kit that bolted the slave onto the outside of the bellhousing and it worked out good.

McLeod makes a kit like that too, I wouldn’t mind switching but I’d still have to drop the transmission to remove the slave cylinder.
