I wish lol just picked up this project today lightning swapped new edge. P.o. hit the oil pan lost oil and spun a bearing right in front of his house. Traded my high mileage v6 f150 for it. Got the car home checked out the cranked it's barley scuffed so gonna clean that up and put some new bearings check All the other bearings in it make sure there not tore up then put it back together.

P.o. also never had a heat exchanger on the car so gonna be hunting those parts down soon

Heres how she sits now

Car has some lowering springs cc plates rear control arms and 4.10 gears (have too see if that's true) and staggered bullets

Got the car cleaned up and washed all the dust off

Post more updates soon already got some stuff for it lol but hoping to have the motor done and back together soon as long as there's no issues

Yea that's why I'm Hoping it doesn't have 4.10s lol gonna check that in a few just finished cleaning up the cranks and checking crank bearings and there all good. Ordered new intake gaskets in oil pan gaskets last night along with new bearings and plugs. Just worked out a deal with a buddy of mine who wants my old Cobra block and crank for his heads with comp cams in them. Can't remember if the heads have worked on or not but should pretty good addition to this motor LOL have some parts I got yesterday too I'll post those up once I get them probably next week

Do yourself a favor and do the M122 swap!!! You'll actually be able to see AND boost power with a larger blower. More room to grow too!!!

Eventually I will do something with the blower right now I'm just gonna put the cammed heads and a pulley for some more boost

This is a cool project. Does the oil pan sit lower than normal on this swap hence why the crushed oil pan or was he just being careless?

Saddest part is what smoking does to the wiring and electronics in your car. It destroys everything much faster cause the carcinogens eats at it.

I use to work at a car audio shop that rented its install bays from a neighboring limo/detailing biz. I was amazed to see them using steel wool to get the stains off of some of the more extreme cases and even after a good wet vac it looked much better but you just could not hang enough air fresheners to cover that smell. These were cars though that the windows were seriously hazy from the smoke, yours doesn't look that bad.

If it were not for the fact I know that cigarette smoke smell will soon be covered with the aroma of burning rubber smell I would say to replace the carpet...

Been slackin on updates here. But sold the mustang and keep the motor and picked up a f150 with a messed up motor for 750 decided I needed a truck more then I needed two mustangs.

I'm gonna keep going with this cause I want a build thread for the truck lol

So had the whole motor tore apart cleaned up the crank picked up a set of gt500 rods from a friend of mine that works at vmp so the bottom end should be good for 700ish now. Picked up a set of low miles heads with stage 2 comp cams in them also have the 6 pound lower pulley

Started tearing the truck down last weekend got the whole top end apart

75877820de0b75d553713ddba32c5e29.jpg

Also found out the 4r70w in stock forum will not hold up to the torque of the lightning motor so didn't have a few grand to spend on building a motor so I looked around for a 4r100 swap ended up finding a complete swap minus ecu for 400 bucks and picked a ecu from the bone yard on Wed so that will all be getting swapped in with the motor

Hoping to have it swapped next week fingers crossed
