I am getting my Vortech SQ Trim installed/dyno tune on March 10. I was just sitting here and making a list of the next few things i want to do to my 97 GT after it gets blown. Let me know what ya think:

PI Intake Manifold swap
Granatelli upper/lower control arms
Maximum Motorsports Full lengh Subframes
UPR underhood dress up kit stage 1
Nitto/BFG drag radials

I was thinking this would be the next few mods i did...thoughts/opinions!

Why spend top dollar on the SFC's from mm and then cut corners on the LCA/UCA. If you like to wreck your car then get Granatelli. They have a long standing reputation for their control arms failing and breaking. I would upgrade to MM LCA's and their UCA's.

yeah after to talking to a lot of guys about what i was planning here is what i decided:

hold off on the PI Intake until i get the intercooler/mini race installed so i only need one tune
Stick with MM control arms
Definately MM subs
Nittos, considering this car is my dd

Sounds good.
I would skip on the Granatelli upper and lower control arms because
his lower control arms are well known to snap or break at the welds.
Also skip on the underhood dress up kit unless you like bling.
Congrats on getting blown you will love boost! O0

why didn't you put on the pi intake before the blower so it gets tuned together?

because its hard for a broke college student to get another $500 for the kit, whenever i get some extra cash ill get the intake/intercooler/mini race and get the car retuned again

haha no i wish, i was planning on buying that next...but it would be pointless if you guys think id be better off waiting until i got the car tuned again...I'm definately going to get a PI Intake when i do the intercooler/mini race though!!

As to the post above: I have full bolt ons, the hood is a carbonware 3" cowl, 18x9 saleens, eibach pro kit is the drop...any other questions just shoot me a pm!! thanks for the compliment!
