hey guys, ive got a 95 gt that i am getting ready to do a motor swap to.. a 87 block, redone with factory forged pistons,
cast crank and rods, with trickflow stg. 1 heads, cam and intake. my question is, should i put longtubes on it while it's getting swapped or just leave my
Mac shorty headers and off road X pipe? I have flowmaster catback by the way if it matters.

One of my mustang friends had a 92 LX 5.0 with longtubes and no matter
where he went he bottomed out on everything. If you took a look at the
longtubes on his car the bottoms of them was scraped to hell.

well that sucks, i dont know of any longtubes that are 50 state legal....causei believe california's law for exhaust is that you cant move the cats any farther back than stock, and ongtubes do that. :dunno:

You're telling me. Yeah I've never seen a set that was 50 state legal, I was curious to know whether or not someone had managed to skate by the visual and still pass the test.
