I've broken a rocker stud before. Had to go to thicker studs, and never had a problem with it since.

I've broken a rocker stud before. Had to go to thicker studs, and never had a problem with it since.

I'm ultimately replacing the cheap cylinder heads with a set from AFR and they come with 7/16" rocker studs.

i had this problem with the AFRs. do yourself a favor and get a set of ARP studs rather than rely on the AFR ones that come in the heads. i also went with slightly longer ones too. i bought these [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]ARP-134-7104[/FONT]
