looking at weld wheels need advice

well im getting a set of track tires and i want to know what size to order for the rear....

15x8 or 15x10 and what backspacing?? thanks

I had 15x8's on mine, I want to say 5 inch backspace but I cant say for SURE. I ran 275 DR's on those by the way

yeah thats what i want to run also i was using some this last weekend for like one pass i didn't see any real gains but the tires were pretty much shot and it was getting late and the track was totally unpreped at that point

I had 15x9 with a 5.5 BS on my 97gt

Not on the rear but on the front I needed a 5/16th spacer and had to grind the cross bar alittle. My car is not a real Cobra though.

yeah, the rear is what I was referring to...I put a 1 inch spacer on my front.

Nope I didn't have a problem with them but then again I don't have tail pipes so sorry I can't help you there. I have heard of people running a 6.5 bs with tail pipes though.
