My lumbar bladder is poking out the back of the seat. Not all the way, it hasn't busted through the material, It's just showing a lump on the back of the seat. I was planning on having my two front seats reupholstered when the car get's back from the paint shop.

Is this something that can be just removed? Or does it have to be replaced? Or must I buy a new seat?

Thanks!

I pulled mine out and put it in my corbeau seats just because I could not get anything out of the stock seats when I tried to sell them.

I gutted mine when I pulled it out but if they are recovering them I would imagine there should be some way to put it back in.

If you want to remove the bladder you can... But I would also remove all the hoses, switch, wiring and motor for the lumbar system.
I'd imagine you can replace it but I think it sticking out the back has more to do with the cover of the seat being stretched out rather than the bladder being bad...
