Ok, I thought I had allready posted this here but can't find it so if this is a repeat I'm sorry. My question is, why won't a set of MAC long tubes fit 94-97 and 01-04 but not 98's, 99's or 00's??? Will they bolt up but the connections for emissions not be connect?? I have a set on ebay with hi-flow cats and muffler/tips for sale and a guy wanted to know.

depends, i know that some exhausts are bent differently for clearance issues between manuals and automatics. that could be a cause. i know that when we purchased my BBK longtube headers they were made for a manual but didnt specify so we returned them and got shorty headers BBK instead. hope this helps....

Its due to the location of the EGR bung on the exhaust. That is the only difference between the headers, everything else is the same on them.

Thanks guys. That seems to clear it all up. I just hope they sell. I'm only asking 550.00 shipped in the continental US. Paypal only.
