If its the passenger side then obviously check the ALT, Smog (if you still have it) and the tensioner pulleys first, if they feel good then you can work from there.

My tensioner was squeaking pretty bad for a while, I took it off and sprayed it with WD-40 rust penetrant and it has been of so far. Also had a bad ALT , but I just replaced that entire thing anyway. My smog is gone along with my A/C

So anyway....spin the pulleys and see what you can hear and/or feel and you should be able to nail the issue

well, im new to these cars. I mostly deal with carb motors. how are your tunes like? what are the advantage you have over bama?
