MAF Voltage- Consistent between Brands?

Does anyone know if MAF signal voltage is consistent from one brand MAF to the next? or could it vary?

I ask because my meth injection is set to inject based on a certain voltage and now that i have the car back with a different MAF the meth seems to be spraying WAY later than it was before the change. So much so i was convinced it wasn't working.

Obviously i can adjust the set point down and test but was curious if anyone had thoughts or knowledge.

Im not sure about brand cross over. But if you change the maf scaling can be different. 5v on a ford 80mm maf is different than 5v on a 90mm maf

What did you have, what did you swap to? Saying you swapped MAF's and leaving the rest open for us to guess I don't think will lead to good info.

Haha good point. Had a 90mm lightning now have a SCT BA-2600 90mm

Your transfer function depends on how it was flowed at Pro-M (ducting & air filter before the MAF). The Lightning MAF is Ford, and Pro-M Racing does the SCT MAF (private label). Once installed in your vehicle, this transfer function can change if your tuner adjusts the MAF's transfer function based on its tuning. You should only use MAF voltage for turbo, and positive displacement supercharged applications or PSI for centrifugal superchargers.
