First off... it looks great in pictures, the reality is that it needs a fair bit of wet sanding etc. I was NOT happy with the prep work the painter did (or lack of). The car had overspray EVERYWHERE. I literally spent the last three hours claying and waxing it to remove it. SMH. Guess that's what you get from a $120 paint job...

It really does look great in the pics, sucks to hear you have to put in a good amount of work to get the results you were after.

So to make a long story short.. the paint job on the roof was terrible. I'm talking Orange peel, nibs in the paint, runs etc. I wanted to give the painter the opportunity to fix it. But he ignored my calls and messages.

Sooooo I went ahead and leveled it with wet sanding. Got it smooth as possible and my buddy and I wrapped it in matte black.

Turned out awesome!!

I'd match the stripe on the hood and the rear spoiler which if I recall correctly, is matte
