My cobra doesnt have a brake light in the spoiler?

I know the 94-95's have them in the wing but i dunno about your 98. I dont think mine is a factory cobra more like a repo. It seems the stock cobra's (from pics i have seen) are not as long as mine is. On mine the led's are apparently split cuz only half work all the time. The other half if i hit it they will work for awhile lol. I plan on fixing it or attempting to. On mine i can also see screws on the bottom of the wing where the led should come out so i might be able to fix/replace unlike the stock led's. I might go mess with it right now and see.

Well i tried to take the wing off to see if i could fix the led's. That didnt work so well. It has to be an aftermarket cobra wing cuz the third brake light is much bigger than the stock cobra is plus the leds can be unscrewed. Unless maybe the old led's went out so they cut it out bigger and put a different led bar in that could be fixed down the road. They use 4 screw with washers to bolt it down. I couldnt get the fuckers out. Most of them just kept turning and wouldnt come loosez(they were loose but wouldnt come completely out. They started backing out but then would just spin. I couldnt get them to tighten back up either so i was like fuck it and was going to drill the heads off and go wingless for the time being. Well the bit caught and spun the screw and it tightened up so i was like wtf(my finger was between the wing and decklid of course :rant. I got one on the other side to tighten up so it is basically like it was. If i get the day off tomorrow i might cut the damn screws out and go wingless if i like the look of it (which i think i will). and if not ill fix it right and stick it back on, but i am a big fan of wingless look so we will see. Ill keep ya updated on whether i go wingless or not

not yet. I will get some soon. I dont think i am going to run them right now. I think they are dark enough that i will have problems with the olice: . What i may do for the time being is just lightly tint em black. I guess ill see.

Haha I first got into stangs when the 94 came out, i loved that car and knew i would one day get one (ended up with a 97 cobra) after always wanting a 94-95 i noticed the 96 tails. And said to myself the first mod would be 96 tails if i got a 94.

I have now had my 94 for a few months, and they 94 lights have grown on me, but I still favor the 96's, in the end their just lights so i might just keep the 94's

I prefer the 94-95 over the 96-98. I just dont like them for some reason. I think the horizontals look great. Now the 99+ taillights look great but they dont just bolt in. The only reason i would even think of 96-98 tails are so i could go w/ sequential tails.

Ya i am going to keep it off. Got to get some shit off that was on the bottom of the wing and come up with a way to fill the holes (i got 8 to fill since they swapped a cobra wing on and didnt fill the holes from the gt wing) and make it look half ass decent till i get the $$ to get her repainted (it will be a long time, motor is first). I dont remember what kind of camera it is but they got it for under 100 so its a pos. Every once in a while you get a decent pic but out of like the 15 i took i didnt get one lol. Ill have to get a decent camera soon. If i end up going with a 351w and need to get a hood to clear the motor i think the wingless w/ a cowl style hood (not too huge) would look pretty badass.

lol. Its not going to happen till this winter at the earliest, and i am going to try using drop mounts and fit it under the stock hood if i go w/ 351. If i need to go with an aftermarket hood i am going to go w/ as little rise as i need (possibly oem cobra r). Your hood doesnt look bad it makes it look mean, but i want to keep the hood as low as i can. Pry 1.5 or 2.5 at the most. I aint thinking too hard about it yet cuz i dont know what the hell i am going to do yet :dunno: (except win the lotto or go hit up a casino and take some money back from the indians ???)
