Hey everyone. I don't post here much, but I intend to try and change that. I am just on too many sites! I am up to 5 now, and it gets hard to keep up with things lol. Anyway, I thought you guys may appreciate these pics.

I took a trip up to Youngstown, Ohio last weekend to meet up with a guy who has a 96 Mystic with a V1, very badass car. We talked some cars, then took our stangs out to a construction area for a little photoshoot. Here are the pics, enjoy!

random question but do you think you could take a pic of your hanger location with your side exhaust?

i have the same setup in the mail and was wondering where the hell im gonna have to get the new hangers welded in?!?>!?

it's actually a custom system now...I used to have the Borla side exit kit until about a month ago, when I went to a custom bent system that uses Borla stingers with a 90 degree bend straight out the sides.

For hangers though, the factory muffler hangers were used, with a hanger welded to the back of the muffler. I believe the hangers extended about 6" or so above the muffler to reach the body hangers, with a rubber exhaust hanger in between. As far as how the side pipe area hangs from the car, I do have a picture of that. I drilled a hole through the pinch weld, then bolted a rubber exhaust hanger to it, then the hanger on the side pipe went through the rubber hanger.

Thanks, the wheels are 18x9.5 and I'm using a 1" spacer in the rear (I need to get the fenders rolled soon...it's a little too close for comfort).

They came with the side exhaust kit, but they are discontinued now. You can only get them smooth without the embossed lettering. ABCExclusive sells the smooth ones.

It didn't. I had custom exhaust made with 2.5" S/S tubing and the stingers, with the tips off my old system welded on for the same look.

Other than the hood, front bumper, and mirrors it's the factory paint

if the normal borla side exit isnt loud enough for me, my plan is to do the EXACT same thing you did. i had actually talked it over with a couple buddies last weekend
