Motor oil!!! What kind do you prefer for your pony??

I wonder if that’s a supplier issue. Maybe Ford had another company supply filters because of the shortage. Could just be a temporary thing.

Yep I remember that. I forget which forum, but I told people I used a cheapy Walmart oil filter for the Marquis because I couldn’t find a motorcraft filter anywhere. Apparently they’re made by the same company.

Watched an episode of Engine Masters, and they did an oil filter shootout, including Motorcraft, a few WIX, etc. "K&N Gold" out flowers them all by a long shot, and it is a smaller micron filter.

FWIW worth, I've always used Motorcraft, and still have a stock pile for my cars. Once I use them up I'm going to try the K&N Gold.
