msd 6a

im going to install a msd 6a i have from my other car, and im also going to throw in some new autolite coppers. what spark plug gap should i go with?? also will the 6a give me better gas mileage and smoother idle??? the only reason im going to use it, is cause im going with a 6al in my other ride and
might as well use this one for something. i know performance wise it wont do much but im hoping it will pick up some gas mileage and a smoother

gap them to between .035" to .040". You might get a lil better mileage but its just like you said, you might as well use it for something. you won't notice much of a diff. but it will set you up for future mods.
