MSD 6Al-2 programmable

Hey guys, i have a programmable 6AL-2 with map sensor i want to use to pull timing under boost with a timing curve on my 95. Is there a way to make this work or do i need to buy a FAST XFI system and be done. The car has a digital 6 box on it but no timing control. Thanks

The article above was written in 2002 and using technology available at the time that was already outdated from the late 90s era of tuning , with tuning software available now you can adjust for spark retard with boost in a normal chip tune , this is done by rescaling the spark tables to see up to 200 percent load instead of 90-100 percent load, not MAP based per say but it works in the same manner but it just correlates airflow of the MAF to interpolate a load value so basically anything NA will go up to 100 percent load and anything over that is going into boost
