I run wix! Had a bronco2 and oil pressure improved when I used wix! The 2.9l suffers from good oiling the shaft rockers causing valve clatter. Used the wix filter....no clatter.

I couldnt see running royal purple unless your racing. Minimum oil psi is desired by racers and I would assume the royal purple filter is built towards that. Although I have no experience with using them. What are your thoughts?

Royal purple has worked out for me so far I am going to swap to 5w20 next oil change I've used it ever since I've got the car and never had any problems block looked clean when I did PI swap too so I'm gonna stick with the purple but I am going to try a different filter especially after getting schooled by that video.

Yeah, I dont really see the point in running the royal purple in a daily driver. I mean, you will literally pull the drain plug and watch the $$ fall out! As far as the filter.......I have no clue. I would believe its built for racing just like ^you said.

I always go with Mobile 1 because as far as I know they hold the patent to full synthetic oil with no additives. They were the first to do it and they guarantee their oil for 15K mile changes.

Uncle bought rear Shelby clone kit for his 68 vert stole it for 300 off craigslist. Plans on eventually getting all the pieces and going to keep it green.

The green bee is my favorite he's got right now too. It's a 383 four speed freshly rebuilt with an original hurst pistol grip. We need a dash he's got pretty much everything else not installed yet, but should be close to done mid summer. He has another bee tucked in the corner I keep trying to get him to sell that one and drop a hemi in. He's also had a super BIRD same sassy grass green 440 six pack four speed car that took him 14 years to do but he only drove that one on and off the trailer I only ever sat behind the wheel and dreamed of driving it haha there's something about that big ass wing that makes that car cool as hell.

Are you doing coilovers and tubular a-arms? Those typically come with new pressed in ball joints.

Yep tube k and a arms. They do come with ball joints but I'm going to eventually piece together all the steeda components and while I had the a arms free it would be easiest to throw them on now.

UPDATE:

+UPR Tubular K member, A Arms, and Coilover Kit
+Steeda X2 Ball Joints
+MaxPeeding Caster Camber Plates
+Energy Suspension Bushings & End Links

Bump Steer Kit didn't end up working out.. The portion where it bolts up to the brake bracket wasn't tapered and wouldn't fit correctly. Looking back now I wish I would have just spent the extra $40 and got the steeda kit, but soon to come it will be on there after I go through returning this one.

After getting these parts installed and aligned. I took it out for a test drive there was a little exhaust rattle in the rear on start up, but stopped after I started rolling and didn't do it at idol should be able to sort that out pretty easy... Next I noticed a high pitch almost a mix between a squeak and a grinding noise sounded like it was coming from the passenger side. I drove only 2 miles to my uncles and it would only make that noise when braking, moving very slow, and when I would start to go after a stop. No noise when turning. I felt along the inside of each tire and rim to make sure they weren't rubbing and nothing looked to be rubbing from where I could see or felt. It was starting to snow when I took it home so I got there and parked it I wont be able to take it out again until we get some decent weather but I took a video I will upload it here in a second..

18x9 with 255/35 on it. It's weird though it doesn't make a sound when turning. Only when at a slow roll, stopping, or going after a stop.
