Hi Im Austin and I'm 17 I got this car in the summer of 2015 and when I got it things where not right and I had to replace the windows didn't work so I rebuilt the motors and it had a stretched clutch cable then I noticed it had a fox clutch for in it after breaking two cables and replace the clutch and throwout bearing with a cheap oem replacement also put in a new Ford racing clutch fork. fixed the windows and the a/c doesn't work so it was a long hot ride home the previous owner had broken the drivers seat so I got some front seats out of a new edge and painted the pony red threw some 03 cobra wheels on it with some 315s on the rear has tan interior with black door panels pulled the radio because it wasn't working and found this so i have no idea what the previous owner was trying to do Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
soldered and wrapped the wire repainted the bezels and put a hurst knob in cleaned up and repainted interior pieces previous owner left me with a broken hood latch cable that I had to use pliers to grab what ever was left to pop the hood and replace with a new one from lmr Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
he also left me with tore carpet and a hole in the back seat found this relay just chilling behind the glove box when I was tracing why my glove box light was staying on and that was also broken was tired of the hole in the back seat so I took it out tired of the ripped carpet and broken console lid found a little rust and wire brushed and painted it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You are doing great! Now stop that! You are making me tired! LOL...wish I had your 17 year old energy...looking good there, glad to see you are tearing into your car & fixing the bad stuff from previous owners! This way you will KNOW your car & it will be much more reliable! Plus if something goes bad you will know what to do...enjoy this to the max & take lots of pics!
nice console harness I found with cut connectors the radio harness I got out of another car cut the butt connectors off then cut the connectors off that the car doesn't use next the broken, drilled into, and mix match interior is out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Oh! This guy is fo real! Dood cracking the car open....gonna make it ight! Great work man. Love the pics! Keep'em coming
Great work! Everything you fix makes the car a little bit better. Eventually you will have a car you are proud of especially since you did the work.
glad to see youre restoring this guy! unfortunate part about our cars is they are hugely neglected so we end up with examples like your car...no idea what went on and at the end of the day you cry because some idiot just decided, fvck it, the car isnt worth anything let me just destroy it... but im interested to see what your plans are bud! already a great start!
