Where to begin? Well my turbo 302 was a great setup but had lots of bugs an issues that where driving me crazy so after torching another head gasket I had to make a decision, fix, redesign, start over or go crazy. I think I went crazy. I research a 347 n/a stroker but it was going to be too much money so then I said screw it! I'm out, I'm selling Everything. then I found a full Mach 1 conversion kit and when I say full kit it's everthing but the rear end. The price was right and I jumped on it. I have to say special thanks to MPS auto salvage in Stathem GA for the great service. This is what I started with.

Yes all wiring from head light to tail will be swapped.

Never thought of using the backhoe for engine removal... might have to do that with mine.

It's great set up but I had a stock bottom so I was alway scared of blowing it up. With forged internals and a good tune you should be fine. I had issue with #3 piston I never found out why the head gasket let go twice.

Engine bay clean with some rattle can paint.

Pick up motor and kit from MPS.

Some of the parts. Motor and trans came from a Mach 1 with 21000 miles.
