My 97 GT

I love reading yalls build threads so i figured jd start my own.
1997 GT with touring tech springs and shocks,off road h-pipe,flow master mufflers ,CAI ,and a custom sun roof.Bought it for $3000 which isnt too bad even though this car is beat.

First thing i did was replace the broken ODO gear,then i installed a SR aluminum radiator and Canton expansion tank.

I had SVE subframe connecters installed by a local shop "SRD" in Vista,Ca.

Then i took the car to my first auto cross and gad a blast!

Now im obsessed with anything handleing wise.I want to make this car handle BUT p.i. Swap is next.

The seats that came in this car sucked!!!
I was planning on getting Corbeus but i found these leather power seats for $16 bucks each at the junkyard!Score!lol!

I also replaced the rear rotors with these drilled and slotted rotors...

You won't be that impressed with those seats. I drove a friend's new edge GT with the same seats, and you may as well be on a slip and slide.

Upgrade the rear LCAs, UCA bushings, and shocks. And tires, get the stickiest you can afford. Or another set of wheels and buy a set of used road race tires. Whatever fits in the class you run, make sure mods are legal.

The seats arent great,but anything was better than my old ones.
Oh i got some stuff from the UPS man.Steeda rear strut brace and J&M lower control arms.Still looking for some used PI heads.

Getting some good stuff!

The rear brace is like tits on a bull. I ran one for a little while on a 89. J&M makes great stuff, and pricing is good too.

I'm debating on rear shocks.On a budget so I was thinking Koni orange?

Thanks again guys.Unfortunately I won't be able to install anything anytime soon because I just had ACL surgery a couple days ago.So I'll just be collecting parts for awhile.
