Soooo my car was down for a bit due to a faulty distributor, changed that and now its fine, but even before that i have noticed that the battery gauge along with the oil gauge on the instrument cluster would fluctuate causing interior and exterior lights to dim in and out. Also when i am driving and push the clutch in to shift the rpm hangs and doesnt drop like it used to when i first got it. for example; im driving, going lets say 45mph, at 3k rpm i go to shift to the next gear but the rpm stays at 3k rpm... I'm not too sure on what could be causing it. If you ever had these problems i would like to hear how you fixed it. thanks in advance :p

a list of mods on the car would be helpful, not running under drive pullies are you? There is a screw on the top of the TB that you can adjust to keep the rpms down while shifting.

My step 1 would be check grounding.

BATTERY->ENGINE
BATTERY->CHASSIS
ENGINE->CHASSIS

Clean from rust/corrosion.

Also check voltage coming from alternator. Mine did something similar before it went out.
