Wow, life has been crazy busy lately.
Family stuff, home cleanaing repair and work has been all my time.

Spent AAALLLL day in the garage. it felt good, and was long overdue.

Messed around on the front of the car, and polished a sheet of stainless for a budy of mine.
then moved on to these drawers that have been sitting here for like 2 months.

Tack'd on the Slides.

Stacked them up with spacers on my bench to weld up the support frame.

See my work bench? that's what my life's been like for about 2 months.

Had to cut out this brace so the frame would slide in there.

This drawer goes below the gray set.

The drawers slide all the way out, maybe an inch beyond. That turned out nice.

I'm just tired of the mess and pile of tools and stuff.
not only car stuff, but house stuff, building tools ect ect....need some storage space, and the drawers seemed a good way to go. I'm kinda stubborn and like to build things myself. it's nice because it just costs me materials, but takes a lot of time.

Don't be hatin my garage, i've spent 10 years and a lot of $ to get it where it is. I built the garage, and everything in it.
it is also the main reason my car wasn't built and blown until last year. Because I did this first.
I also like to be prepared and have what I need by way of tools and supplies. it hurts me sometimes because I buy all the tools and don't have the cash to buy the parts... lol...

anyway, I just thought this would be a fun addition to the build threads.

Made some more progress!!
getting my garage back.
It's starting to look like a workshop, not a pile of crap.

So I got the set of large drawers setup with the slides and mounting frame.

Here's the drawer boxes

your garage has come 180*, and inspired me to clean up my act. I only have a single car garage, but after the bike fell into the mustang, something had to be done.

you'll be glad you did!
I just couldn't stand the mess any more. I've also wrapped up a number of projects so I could spend some time.
Realistically, aside from the fabrication, it took me 3 long evenings.
It's so much nicer to walk in there and see a somewhat organized place to work, instead of a pile of stuff I still need to do.

Good luck with your clean up! you gonna post pix?

No, not to me crazy. I mean to a big shop place. They can probably do all of them at once! You should have them done in grey, or black, or maybe dark blue or something.
