I used to rock those side skirts and I also couldn't go too low with my suspension...

Then I decided to say "F the skirts" an dpulled them off, along with the stockers. Threw is some H&R SS springs and wa-la.
Like it MUCH better with no skirts and a nice drop.

Engine looks real good man. Some 18's and a small drop and it will look great.
