I’ve heard of this happening a few times from over-tightening the starter/alternator lead, and it happened to me recently. And wouldn’t you know it... the fuel pump circuit is the one that gets pulled apart the worst when trying to break the nut loose.

I put it back together the best I could but I’m seeing fuel pump voltage spike dropouts in my data logs and I’m pretty certain the broken box is the issue.

Should I create a new circuit to power the fpdm instead of having to rip an entire harness out of the car? It would actually be switching on the relay for the KB BAP and then that power runs to the dual fpdm with the western motorsports harness kit. Pretty sure if it lost any voltage at all it would click the relay and the BAP would shut down and have to turn back on. That’s a lot of time to go lean. No good.

I’m asking all of this because I don’t want to interfere with the CCRM or throw off the pcm voltage signal (if it’s at all connected)
