Thanks guys, hard to believe but the car rolled off the assembly line last Monday and by Wednesday it had already shipped out, and by Friday it was already at a rail junction point in Illinois, close to halfway here! Dealer will give me an update tomorrow, weird though it still shows the ETA as 4/10, so it will either come way early, or it will probably sit for 5+ days at a couple transfer points along the way. This wait has actually gone pretty quick.

even if the car is just on time, its just two weeks away…my gut tells me it will be here next week though. i was expecting the wait to be torture but I've been so busy with work and all sorts of other things, I've had something to look forward to nearly every week lately so that has really helped pass the time…it'll be my first gray car

the car rolled through a small town about 3 hours from here yesterday, and my salesguy says he expects it to roll into town here TODAY, so barring any unforseen holdups he is expecting the car to be at the dealer by the end of the week!

the car has been at the rail unload place in st paul, waiting for a truck to pick it up and bring it to the dealer...my dealer called them and put a HOT priority on it (lol) so that it gets shipped out quicker...still expecting it tomorrow or saturday w000t

Took delivery yesterday! Currently back at the dealer having the GT500 axleback exhaust installed!


Here it is right off the truck with te raptor it rode with in the background:

Here's how I took delivery, I went through the PDI checklist and crossed off things I didn't want done which included removing any plastic so I drove off the lot with the exterior/interior plastic still on it. Had 5.8 miles at delivery:

After first wash and removing plastic:

Love this car and I did this car right; I ordered exactly what I wanted, didn't settle, was there when it came off the truck, didn't let them do any cosmetic prep and rode along on the prep test drive. Now I just need to detail and enjoy!

from a 60 mph roll it hauls like a freight train...and i havent even really got on it with 70 miles on the odometer

Nice!!! Great options, glad to see you got it exactly how u wanted it. Good choice on removing the plastic and everything in your own. I used to be a lot porter and some of the guys I worked with would wash the new camaros with an old wash brush, straight off the truck. Those things left little scratches all over
