For sale is a high output, externally-regulated alternator. With the regulator mounted away from engine bay heat, it might very well last forever. The Transpo V-1200 regulator is also heat sinked to reject any nearby heat source and has an adjustment screw to tune the output voltage to your liking (I recommend it stay at 14.2v). Used this on my old engine setup, never a problem. Higher idle output so lights won't dim when you use window switches or add higher draw sound systems, etc. You get the idea. Just want it gone. Make a reasonable offer.

I think I have the same regulator(balmar?) and I know that piece alone is not cheap but it does offer different charging cycles for different batteries. Not a cheap system all around by any means.
