Yep, that'll cause an issue. Also, the vacuum is ported, so just find on on the manifold for the FPR. The readings you show are normal for stock.
I would replace them but I’m not going to be using it anymore. So….You are going to need to replace the o-rings. I'm surprised it didn't leak just during the testing.
Make sure they are Viton o-rings. Most other material types will corrosively break down under exposure to hydrocarbons (fuels). Amazon carries them.
FWIW, the AeroMotive vacuum line was not connected. You're overthinking this I think.
~38-39psi at idle, with the vacuum line unhooked is what a stock unit is going to put out.
Slap the gauge on your car with the Aeromotive, and see what it is at idle with the vacuum line out.
Probably happened a while back when I had that rat problem. And since this is the first time I’ve ever removed the gauge, I hadn’t noticed it before.that one wire is not frayed it is just broken
Any recommendations on the full harness? Which to consider and which to avoid? Meantime, I’ll poke around the Interweb and see if a stock or Fird Performance exists. That part is up to you.
They are EV1 injectors and you should be able to get them "stand-alone" or with a pigtail to make it easy to repair. In your case, I'd do a pigtail so you have a good lead to work with. I checked my stash and don't have any for you. LMR has https://lmr.com/item/LRS-4411AK/ev1-fuel-injector-pigtail-kit and also get https://lmr.com/item/LRS-SK1-K/Mustang-Fuel-Injector-O-Rings-Set-86-04 Most of it is just time/patience.Any recommendations on the full harness? No, don't use that, it's for 3/8" hose and all you need is a 1/8" I.D. or smaller. Use a vacuum "T" and splice into one of the small lines coming off the intake. You might have the vacuum tree (shown on that page) or even the plastic tree (sometimes on firewall) and can safely use a port.
I know it states up to ‘93, but would this be the quick fix for the vac line?
The lower side-shooter vac nipple on the AeroMotive had nothing attached to it. So where do you recommend I attach the stock top-center upward facing vac nipple to?You like these sweet iPhone pictures of a screen?

Anyways, that circled line should be your FPR vacuum line. The Aeromotive vacuum line is down on the side of the unit so you may not have noticed it when you were taking it off. But regardless that line should be hooked to the top of the FPR.
As far as your injector wires, grab a fuel injector pigtail from an auto parts store and solder it together. You might see some folks who don’t like soldering on automotive wiring buuuutttt that’s generally for sensitive sensors. It’ll be the right fix in this case. Easy peezy, no need to hunt down a new harness.
