I'm replacing the power steering pump, rack and hoses on my 95 GT. The low pressure hose takes a white o-ring, but I'm not certain how it is installed. I bought a pack of two that are different sizes; one smaller and one larger. The smaller one seems to be a bit too big to fit into the bottom of the rack fitting, while the larger one seems a bit too small to fit over the threads.

anyone know how it's supposed to go? There's a write up that appears on several search pages, but it's for earlier Fox cars. Ours don't use the rubber prong, just the Teflon/nylon seal

TIA

I've found that putting them into hot, I mean hot, water for a few minutes makes installation a lot easier. They go down over the threads to seal it. You will see where they go when you pull the old stuff off.
