I have a 94 5.0 Mustang. Last night i went to change my PCV valve and the plastic T broke. I shut the project down for the rest of the night but needed to move my car cause of bad weather. Anyway i cranked it forgetting that the lines were unhooked. The car barely crank and sounded like crap. It then died on me. Fixed the lines and PCV. Car won't crank now and having a really hard time trying to turn over even. Car ran fine before all this. What could it be ?

Double check all your lines.
Make sure they are run correctly - may have gotten a couple of them backwards.
Also look for any other lines (vacuum or electrical) that may have come unhooked during the project.

PCV wouldn't cause car too not run . You have disconnected a vacuum line it sounds like on accident possibly . Good luck

If it won't crank, I'd start with your battery.

Did you do anything with plug wires? Or distributor? Almost sounds timing related.

Well, make sure you used the HO firing order when you installed the wires.

Hard cranking sounds like distributor is too retarded , advance it a little and see if it cranks over for you .

Well the distributor housing being cracked would cause the car to be hard to start but not hard to crank unless your dizzy is stuck completely or something . My bet is dizzy .
