Tests went ok.
Results:
1. Code 172- HEGO (HO2S) sensor fault/lean;

2. Code 136- HEGO (HO2S) sensor fault, always lean.

Now the next obvious question is: which O2 sensor? Or is there only 1 or 2?

The only funky thing that the Code Reader displayed was the # of cylinders. It displayed 4!! Last I checked there’s 8 cylinders under the hood!
???

Ran the 3 tests. Got 136 & 172 Codes. Yep, O2 sensors (lean, always lean).
Buttoned everything up, started it up to see if Check Engine idiot light still on?
Nope. No more check engine light.
Drive it around a long block to see if it would come back on?
Nope. Still off!

So maybe it was throwing a ghost code??
Either way, I’m going to give it a “wersch” and go drive the sum bitch!! :)

I believe there are only two 02 sensors, but I don't know how to tell which is which from the tests.

Yep, the Check Engine light came on/stayed on again during my drive to work this morning! Also, the turn indicator is on steadily and my headlights and fog lights aren’t functioning properly.

Will do. Picking up 2 OE (NGK) sensors and slotted socket today. See if this helps remedy

Came back on again, but not right away. I guess the sensors need time to send signals?? Whatever. No more indicator issues somehow but looks act up when headlights activated.

Going under the car now….

Well, 2 new O2 sensors ahead of each cat. And check engine light is gonzo! Drove it about 20 miles since and another 40+ tomorrow. Hopefully I won’t get a check engine light!
