New bolt-on!!

ok guys, I need help.

just got my MARCH U/D pulley set from SUMMIT and I'm going over the instructions and the ALT and W/P pulleys are a cake, but what gives with the dampner/crank pulley set up??

Instructions say something about the pulley fits around the outside of the old assembly and pulling them down tight with some supplied bolts. Then it says that you have to put high temp silicone on where the carnkshaft key would go on the new pulley. Then.....soak it in hot water for and hour???

WTF :dunno: :dunno: ??? anybody know what's up???

I already checked the MARCH web site and they don't have crap on the install!!!

I belive thats the piggy back style. i have't heard that many good things about them. Not to discourage you or anything, but good luck with your install however wierd the instructions my be.

There is a how to on Mustangworld for piggyback pulleys. They're a PITA, better get the dampened pulley from March.
