New Clutch Issues with shifting

Clutch Engagement Issues

Looking for some help and honestly pretty stumped. Just replaced my factory clutch with a McLeod Street Pro Clutch (also replaced rear main, flywheel, and all bearings).

The car is still on jack stands. I start the car pushing the clutch down and I cannot shift into any gear out of neutral. I bought an adjustable cable and replaced the stock one. Still wont allow me to shift into any gear from neutral. When I push on the shifter the wheels begin to move, but still wont go into gear. I have tightened that cable to the point where I am prying on the clutch fork with a breaker bar to adjust the nut. Has anyone ever had this problem before????

I'm guessing you got an aftermarket quadrant too?

Yes, Ford Racing adjustable cable

You did install a new pilot bearing
Check make sure all bolts on clutch are tight
Check to see if
it will shift with car not running through all gears smoothly
Make sure the ball stud has a washer behind it
Could be ball stud is not out far enough for the fork to engage the clutch
That's a few things to check

I did install a new ford performance roller bearing, doing some research it sounds like its either defective or I did not lubricate it enough

That pilot bearing is very important
Without it the sincros will not line up
And will not go into gear
