Welcome to the forum!

What did you have before?

Any ideas on what you'd like to get next?

I used to have a 98 v6 then a 00 gt and now I have an 07 gt but Im most likely gonna sell it and buy a 94-98 gt.

And yes, Naples. Born and raised and I love it.

94-98? Big decisions with engine choice! I prefer modular, but who cares as long as you are here. Welcome bro

Thanks man! Im open to either a 302 or 4.6 2v but if I do get a 2v I eventually wanna go a 4.6 3v swap. I love this forum already, theres so much here!

Welcome! And why would you want to sell the S197 for an older and much slower sn95?

I used to own a 00 gt and miss it. Dont get me wrong, 3v's are potent and are a great chassis but theyre platic and theyre expensive. Ive owned my 07 since august of 2012 and Ive already had to fix the door panels, replace my evaporator core, replace all my tires twice and had the clutch literally blow up on me. I miss the cheapness and simplicity of the sn95's and plus Id want an sn95 to drop a 3v with the frpp control pack in it. Its like the best of both worlds. And, overall, I love the customizability of the old sn95's. You can literally do anything to them and parts are cheap. I want a shifter, ok its a minimum of 200 bucks and thats for a crappy shifter, like the hurst that still doesnt shift well. Oh and that brings up another thing, the remote mounted shifter is awful. But above all, nothing compares to the exhaust of an sn95, not even an s197 with mid mounted mufflers.

I hope to sell my 07 soon and pick up a white 96-98 gt.

Theirs a nice purple Gt forsale down the road from where I live!
Funny you say that, a buddy of mine almost bought one. It was I think a 97 with black interior. He was in love but they wanted wayyy to much for it. It wouldve been cool though

Makes sense. 3v are expensive in every way. I love the simplicity and cheapness of the SN95 as well; I love 90s cars for those reasons. A 3v inside an sn95 GT would be pretty sweet! I love the sound of the 3vs with their axleback style exhaust. But can't beat the sound of a 4v SN95.
White is the way to go! Best color on the sn95!

Ive owned a lazer red 98 and a black 00, I NEED a white stang now lol. Ive seen a few 3v swaps and theyre cool because they have vct, a bigger power band, can rev to 6.8k, have an aluminum block and can reach 350 at the rear wheels with bolt ons and cams. That would be a potent combo in the lighter sn95 chassis. But yea nothing beats the sound of a 4v man!

I just love that deep bass like thumping sound of a pushrod. I love the torque they make. But check out my thread and you will see I'm biased!!!!! Lol
