New here from New Zealand

Hi, just signed up, I have a 2002 GT Auto I bought back in November 2023, I have been working on it with some upgrades ever since and at the moment is in the paint shop, should have it back in another week or so.
I have picked up some tips on sorting out the stalling at idle on this forum (which I have yet to try) so thought it would be a good idea to join and share my experiences.

I agree. Everyone says red is a speeding ticket magnet. Not necessarily true. As a former patrol cop, I looked at speed and unsafe driving, not the color of the car. So just be absolutely certain there’s no cops around before you stand on it and get yer “yah-yah’s”! ;-)

I don’t know about other jurisdictions, but in Cali “exhibition of speed” is a Misdemeanor, not just a basic Infraction. BUT….. the cop has to establish that it was your intent. So free advice, if you do get stopped for it, DO NOT ADMIT INTENT!

But you didn’t hear that from me ;-)
