New sn95 owner here. 27 years old, not new to cars at all. have 9 total right now, but never a v8 car. Bought a 94 Gt deep forest green 5 speed coupe a week ago from a friend hard up for cash. 122k miles, fresh engine 9k miles ago. Mods are shorty headers, o/r x pipe, Flowmaster 40 series catback, BBK underdrive pullies, King Cobra clutch, Accel 8mm plug wires, MSD cap and rotor, MSD coil, Hunsaker front seats, Sony headunit, Infinity speakers front and rear, Cervinis 3.5" cowl hood, and clear corner markers. Everything on the car works fantastic. Drives extremely smooth, and i have quickly fallen in love with it. I paid $2500 for the car and only complaints after 2k miles of driving are a weird noise under hard accel with a passenger, passenger header leak due to bolts backing out, the owner who bought the hood spraypainted it!!!!, CEL for what i was told is o2 sensors, a horrible misfire only when i hit a puddle, and a a$$hole hit a deer into the pass side the day i bought it while i was stopped at a stop sign, already changed the fender but its red. Currently looking for a green door.

Current parts to go on - H&R race springs, Stage 8 locking header bolts, Mr Gasket ultra seal header gaskets, MM caster/camber plates.

Mods i wish to do in near future - Bilstein shocks, struts, quad shocks. Cervinis Stalker urathane front bumper, cobra smoked headlights, smoked corner markers, Saleen wing or go wingless, new pass door, paint whole right side and fix deer damage, either saleen, fr500, or bullit 18x9 and 18x10.5 wheels, tint windows, LED cluster lights.

Mods i plan in the distant future - find a way to get my 620 hp built balanced blueprinted 400m v8 shoehorned into it out of my 79 f150, or do a 351w bottom end swap. If i do the second, power goals are 450-500 rwhp.

I have already learned a great deal from this site, and hope ill be around for a long time.

I know its not the "best", but for the price and the way it runs its really good. i had no questions when i drove it 3 hours each way to get the fender. And yes, that might be my donor engine next to it. a 97 f350 with a 351w with 64k miles on it. I have a ton of questions and hope you guys have some answers lol

That 351 swap would make that car alotta fun lol. If you do swap it, are you staying N/A or throwing a s/c or turbo on?

im thinking a kb 2.1 on top of the 351. wether i stroke the 351 or leave it stock is up in the air. i would REALLY like to get my 400m in it but its looking like it wont fit easily and i would have to swap to carburated with it. the 400 has a lot of sentimental value to me, and is already built pretty strong so the money required would be a lot less then a whole new setup. There is a lot more pros to the 351w, but the feelling of that big block is priceless. i could always go really big and swap my spare 04 viper motor and t56 in but feel like a mopar power plant would ruin the car lol

An 04 Viper motor would be sick in a Mustang. Who cares about cross breeding, like LS motors in mustangs its all cool imo. If i could I'd swap a LS1 motor in my 95 w/o hesitation. I forgot if it was this site but isn't there a member with a Viper swapped sn95?

Thanks everyone. Talking with my father this morning sealed my plans. We were talking on the way to work and the subject came up about me possibly doing a 351w swap. My dad is a HUGE packrat. Turns out, he had a 69 fseries with a 351w 4 speed. He scrapped the truck long ago, but saved the engine for a friend of his. Sold the friend the motor 20 years ago for his mustang 2, the friend started rebuiding it in our basement then disappeared. The block has been bored .30 over and then literally drowned in oil and grease then stored in a bag. My dad said go check it out, its under my bench in the garage in the corner. After a hour digging i found it, in all its glory. A 69 351w block, and crank. The heads are there but for some reason i was told the friend ground down the valve guides for better flow? Think he was a bit loopy. Anyway, thinking of running a trickflow top end and that block with h beam rods and around 11:1 compression. My budget is going to be around 4k total, so have to look deeper into it to see if 4k can do it. I figure either way, ill end up buying the top end probably. Having the 351 block and crank will make things quite a bit cheaper
