Hello everyone, thought I would join this forums after browsing for a couple months! I had a calypso green 1992 LX coupe for 5 years. Unfortunately, I had a bad accident end of AUgust and she was hit too hard to repair. My #2 fav after an LX was always a black 94-95 GT. In a couple of weeks my 2 replacements were narrowed down. A clean blue 88 coupe or a 1995 GT.

I went to see the GT and felt a good vibe. Previous owner was nice guy, had all the right answers and had done some tasteful mods to the car. Price was right and everything looked good so I made it happen and couldn't be happier

PO installed MM full length subframes and MM cast/camber plates along with Sportlines and Bilsteins. Motor is stock except for a cold air, pulleys, catted H pipe and Magnaflow catback. Also running 4.10s and aluminum driveshaft. Unknown brand big ass rad in there too.

Didn't really do anything so far except change the EGR tube and throw on a set of 17" 99-00 GT wheels I scored for $80. I bought set of stock style Cobra headlights to put on as well.

Mods for next season are very mild. Cobra 13" fronts, replacing the springs and shocks (have questions will post on supension section), installing my mint 2.5" Flowmaster LX pipes and detailing everything. Got myself a big tune up - NGK UR45s, Motorcraft wires, fuel filter, thermostat (192), rad cap, ECT sensor and sender, 02 sensors, ACT and an MSD cap and rotor. Yes, maybe changing the sensors is excessive but they are 20 years old and not expensive.

I have since found a nice radiator sight cover. Couldn't just leave it bare like that lolll.

Only interior pic. I ran the pistol grip for a day and then put the stocker back in. Also removed the aftermarket alarm and now have the OEM remotes working. Interior will stay stock except for some fresh Lloyds floor mats coming in next week along with a new stock knob and my Pro 5.0 shifter from the LX. Aftermarket cheesy white face gages getting scrapped loll.

Welcome! car looks clean. If those sidemarkers don't have the amber circle in them those are highly desirable by most SN95 owners. How does it feel with the MM sfc's?

They do have the amber circle in them. Car feels very tight with the subframes!

Welcome! I've had 4 foxes and totalled 2 (one my fault, the other not) so I know how hard it is. A calypso notch is a rarity around here in my area.
The suspension section has some really good advice. Tons of good info.
